SWCD staff are available for workshops, seminars, and training for you and your staff. We can offer workshops at your school/site as part of your in-service trainings or we will offer workshops at a specific location during the summer. Teacher workshops are offered throughout the year for many of the curriculums listed below and much more!

Back for the 3rd year, Northwest Ohio Soil & Water Conservation Districts are partnering to offer local educators a fun and interactive professional development opportunity through the Get Out - Get Going - Go Teach Educator Workshop!
Join us July 14-16, 2026 at Sauder Village Heritage Inn in Archbold, Ohio. Participants may choose to attend all three days for a total of $150 or may choose individual days at a cost of $50 per day. Fee includes meals, refreshments, and all workshop materials! Payment must be included with your registration. EARLYBIRD REGISTRATION! Register by June 5, 2026 and save $30—pay just $120! No early bird discount for those attending less than three days. You have the option to stay at the Heritage Inn at Sauder Village or the Sauder Village Campground. This is a separate cost from your workshop registration. You are responsible for making your reservation. Check out the accommodations at this link. Ashland University Graduate Credit: One (1) Grad Credit is offered for the 3G Workshop as an additional option for professional development. This is a separate cost from the workshop registration.
